Do You Wonder If You’re Invisible While Working from Home?

The transition from working in a physical office to remote work can be challenging. As much as you may enjoy working from home, it’s not uncommon to experience feelings of isolation or being disconnected from your team.

There are many ways to create a more positive work-from-home experience, and to elevate your overall visibility. Here are three suggestions:

🔸 Communicate with your team: Try to stay in touch with your colleagues regularly. Use messaging apps, video conferencing tools or even just a phone call to check in to discuss work related matters. Regular communication helps maintain a sense of connection and visibility.

🔸 Participate in virtual meetings: When there are virtual team meetings or conferences, actively participate and engage with your team members. Offer your input and contribute to discussions. Being present and active during these meetings will elevate your presence and help you feel more involved.

🔸 Seek feedback and recognition: Don’t hesitate to ask for feedback on your work or achievements. Positive feedback and recognition from your colleagues or superiors can boost your confidence and make you feel valued.

There is no reason why you can’t excel in a remote work environment and demonstrate your value to the organization. All you need to do is get a little more involved.
