Should You List Certification Acronyms Next to Your Name? Yes!

If you’ve earned a certification that’s relevant to your profession, it’s important to list these acronyms in reverse chronological order next to your name in the heading of your resume.

Since job descriptions often list acronyms without the name of the certification spelled out, having the acronym in the resume header makes them easy to find!

Acronyms often have dual definitions, so you can spell out the acronym in a certification section to let the reader know exactly what the certification stands for.

Keep in mind that some certifications are more important than others, especially when the certification is a requirement for the position.💡
